Flying by Faith
From the Desk of Pastor Brent
Hurtling through the atmosphere at 435 miles per hour, I attempted to absorb the scene beneath me.  From 40,000 feet, the Rocky Mountains spread before me majestic and magnificent.  On my way from Calgary to the West Coast of British Columbia, I was dazzled by the beauty beneath my feet.  Just then, my thoughts turned to the faith required for me to have such an experience.  Faith?  But religion is not necessary to fly a plane, you might argue.  And you would be right.  Yet faith, belief, and trust is very much part of the process.
